Journal to Joy

Live online beginning January 2027

Tuesdays, 4:30 pm Pacific / 5:30 pm Mountain Time / 6:30 pm Central / 7:30 pm Eastern

Journal to Joy is a live online community that gathers weekly for guided reflection, journaling, and honest conversation. It serves as a regular place to slow down, listen inward, and connect more honestly with ourselves and with others.

Each week, I’ll guide us through a few minutes of arriving and centering, followed by introducing the week’s theme, time to turn inward and write, and an invitation to share. The journaling helps us hear ourselves more clearly. The conversation gives us a place to bring what we find into connection.

Together, we’ll explore the real stuff of being human… happiness, relationships, change, uncertainty, gratitude, grief, growth, and whatever life is asking of us at the time.

There’s never pressure to share. Sometimes the reflecting and writing itself is what you need. Sometimes hearing someone else name something true for you is what you need.

And you don’t need to be an experienced journaler. This isn’t about writing beautifully or finding the perfect answer. It’s about creating space to notice what’s true for you and being part of a community where honest reflection is encouraged and welcome.

What We'll Explore

Each gathering will draw from one of the 52 themes inside The Happiness Journal… something real and relevant to the way we live, relate, grow, and care for ourselves.

Over time, we’ll explore themes like:
  • Authenticity, gratitude, hope, and self-compassion

  • Relationships, vulnerability, love, and belonging

  • Thoughts, emotions, the inner critic, and self-trust

  • Strengths, confidence, purpose, and personal values

  • Stress, change, perfectionism, and letting go

  • Presence, play, mindfulness, and savoring life

  • The experiences that shaped us… and who we’re becoming

Heart Share Circles

What our mental and emotional well-being needs is more connection, more honesty, more care, and more unfiltered, unashamed conversation.

I don’t know about you, but I love having real conversations… the kind where people show up honestly, listen with care, and talk about things that are deeper than surface-level… things that actually matter.

That’s how Heart Share Circles were born.

A Heart Share Circle is a small, consistent group of people who come together to share and connect in a genuine way. Each week, we meet for 75 minutes to show up as we are and talk about what really matters in our lives.

In a world that often rewards performance, speed, and surface-level connection, Heart Share Circles offer a place to slow down, connect more honestly, and be human together.

The intention is simple: to build meaningful connections and support one another with compassion as we grow in self-awareness, authenticity, and emotional well-being.

You bring your heart. We’ll meet it with care.

How the Circles Work

Heart Share Circles meet at the same time each week, and I personally facilitate each gathering to help create a space that feels respectful, emotionally attuned, and supportive.

Because each circle is intentionally small and consistent, before joining, you’ll complete a brief interest form and we’ll have a short, relaxed connection call to answer any questions, share current meeting times and availability, and make sure the circle feels like a good fit.

What Participants Say

  • Heart Share Circles are inviting in a way that feels rare in today’s world. Freedom of thought and authenticity aren’t just tolerated; they are genuinely encouraged. It quickly became a space where we could name uncertainties or fears about our careers, our futures, and ourselves without embarrassment. Sophia’s weekly “Heart Seat” approach allows us to work through those moments by listening generously — to others and to ourselves. What surprised me most was how quickly the experience translated outward. It changed how I show up in my work and in life connections. I’m more open, more deliberate, and less defensive. I brought that mindset back into my work in healthcare and now lead my team with renewed focus. When people are met with shared humanity, something shifts. We don’t just feel better; we become better.

  • Joining a Heart Share Circle during the height of pandemic burnout was originally an act of survival, but it quickly became the most transformative 75 minutes of my week. Over five years, it became a space where honesty and self-compassion were practiced in real time. We spoke openly about things that are often hard to admit, like imposter syndrome, the realities of marriage and parenting, and the challenges of caring for aging parents. It wasn't just venting... it was a place to be honest about the stuff we usually hide. What I discovered was that being real and honest wasn’t just something that happened in the group. It slowly became a way of living that I carried into my work and relationships. Even on the days I didn’t feel like logging onto Zoom, I always left feeling lighter, more grounded, and deeply seen. It’s rare to find a space that reminds you, week after week, that you are already enough.

  • Sophia’s facilitation of the Heart Share Circles is truly exceptional. She creates a space that is nurturing and safe, vulnerable and authentic. Her warmth and open-hearted approach make it easy to connect soul-to-soul. Each session leaves me feeling renewed and supported in ways that are truly transformative. I highly recommend the Heart Share Circles for anyone seeking a space of healing and connection, and place to come as you are.

  • Sophia’s Heart Share Circles are the highlight of my week. There’s something really special about the space she creates… it feels both grounded and expansive, like you can show up exactly as you are and leave feeling a little lighter. Sophia has created a container that feels safe, judgment-free, and supportive. I find my usually guarded self able to open up honestly and be myself. Each session leaves me feeling connected and reminds me that I’m not alone.
